Artwork aside this is a great post! Ever since Torae & Guilty got together on “Stomp” from 2009’s “Double Barrel the people (present company included) have been thirsty for more. Well with Guilty & Apollo Brown’s “Dice Game” the thirst is quenched. Potatoes is a hard hitting banger from Guilt & Brown that features Torae doing what he does best, beasting. Be sure to check the jam & cop that “Dice Game” HERE.
Repost!. 4 years ago I wrote this joint along with the homies Jon Hope & Sha Stimuli. Produced by Statik Selektah, it was our tribute to the election of Barack Obama into office. 4 years later he’s been re-elected & this joint sounds good as it did in 2008. Enjoy!
Even though Hurricane Sandy kept Torae from being able to perform in Italy, his Italian fan base is still keeping up with his every move. HipHopRec.com caught up with Da Young Veteran to discuss coming up in Coney Island, Brooklyn, working with DJ Premier on For The Record & his appearance on Per La Mia Gente with Marco Polo, Bassi Maestro & Ghemon. Check it out HERE.
In 2009 I did this joint as an ode to the neighborhood I grew up in, Coney Island. With last weeks hurricane Coney Island is nothing like it once was. Homes destroyed, lives turned upside down & utter chaos. I’m re-upping this song to remember C.I. as it once was & to provide a source of inspiration to the remaining C.I. residence. There are some devastating photos of the aftermath after the jump. #PrayforCI
